These are well enough made and look to be durable. However as a professional pointer they are not suitable for me. The metal strip is too far away from the handle and considerably reduces the sensitivity when pressing mortar into bed and perp' joints. This may be because I am used to a more traditional style design and someone new to pointing might become comfortable over time with frequent use. I had thought the flat plate design of the piece immediately coming out of the handle would be an issue but it is not. It's just the pointing part and the handle are too far apart.
